How to Design a Coffee Mug

This project makes a basic coffee mug using Autodesk's Fusion 360.

I'm Harrison, a student at Eminence High School. In this instructable, you will learn how to make a basic coffee mug or something similar.

A working computer with Autodesk's Fusion 360.

A basic understanding of what a cup/mug is.

After clicking the "create sketch" under the "create" tab, use the "fit point spline" under creating to design a side profile of your mug.

Using the "revolve" tool under the "create" dropdown, you can create a new body with the sketch you created in the previous step.

You can use the same "create sketch" under the "create" dropdown to sketch out a handle that aligns with the side of your mug.

You can use the "extrude" tool under the "create" dropdown to make the handle so that it has mass.

Once you are this far, you can use the "filet" tool under the "modify" tab to round off sharp edges such as the handle and the lip of the cup.
