How to Design Custom Shapes Using 3D CAD Software

Designing custom shapes is a key aspect of 3D modeling that empowers creators to move beyond standard forms and develop unique, personalized designs. Custom modeling allows for greater creativity and problem-solving by giving full control over the shape, size, and function of each object. From functional components to artistic projects, the ability to create something entirely original is both a technical and creative advantage.

This article will guide you through the process of designing custom shapes using SelfCAD, a user-friendly 3D modeling tool. You'll explore how to start from basic geometry, apply editing techniques, and refine your models into polished, custom-made forms. By following these steps, you'll gain a stronger grasp of digital modeling and be equipped to create designs that stand out
