How to Design Bath Soap Holder Using 3D CAD Software

Designing everyday household items in 3D offers a great way to blend practicality with creativity. A bath soap holder, for instance, may seem like a simple object, but designing one allows you to consider important factors like drainage, stability, aesthetics, and ease of use. Creating such a model from scratch encourages thoughtful design and problem-solving, resulting in a custom item that fits your space and style perfectly.

In this article, we’ll walk through the process of designing a functional and visually appealing bath soap holder using SelfCAD. From sketching the basic shape to refining details like grooves or support structures, you’ll learn how to turn an idea into a ready-to-print 3D model. This project is ideal for beginners and intermediate users looking to sharpen their modeling skills while creating something useful for everyday life
