*Don't forget to plug in you curling wand before hand if it takes long to heat up.*

Start off by sectioning you hair, it's a lot easier to curl you hair in smaller sections.

I like to tie one side in a ponytail, then split the other side in half.

But you can split it how ever you want, it all depends on how thick your hair is and what you prefer.

I like to start by adding heat protectant but it's optional.

Then you will start curling! When your curling make sure the handle is at the top and the hot part of the wand is pointing towards the ground, like in the picture. I think it looks better if you do the curls all the same way, but it's up to you. When you wrap the hair around the wand try and wrap as much of the end around the wand without burning yourself .If you want the curls to be tighter hold it around the wand for longer, but if you want a looser curl don't curl it for long.

I start by curling my front pieces and move to the back as I curl, it's a good way to keep the already curled pieces away from the pieces you haven't curled yet.

Make sure you are careful, all curling wands come with different settings and can be very very hot.

Once you finished that layer, take down the layer you tied up. And begin curling that section.

Once you have finished that section. Repeat the first three steps on the other side. If you want after you have finished curling, spraying a bit of hairspray will help hold the curl for longer, but it's just a personal preference.
