How to Create Waves in Synth Dreads

Ready to learn how to create beachy texture in your synthetic dreads? In this video Doc will show you how to make your dreads do "the wave" with this super simple process!

For this tutorial you will need:

Backcombed Synthetic Double Ended Dreadlocks
Boiling hot water
A pot/pan/container large enough to hold your dreads
Towels for drying

Follow along in the video to get epic wavy dreadlocks!

Secure Bundle

Bind your bundle of dreads at the top using a rubber band.

Braid Bundle

Separate the bundle into 3 legs. Create a braid. Band the ends.

Add Hot Water

Dip the bundle into a pot of freshly boiled water - leaving the top out.

Let Dreadlocks Cool

Lay the bundle flat to cool. Remove the bands and unbraid for beautiful waves!
