The first and foremost thing you need to do is decide on the size of the vegetable holder. Decide the width and height of the box. It will depend on the number of vegetables you want to store in it. I am creating a box 13 inches in length, 13 inches in width, and 8 inches in height. And the box will have four sections to store four different vegetables. You can make a box of any size depending on your requirements.

Cut the old corrugated box as per the required dimensions. Any cutting tool can be used in this step depending on the thickness of the material of the old box you are using. A stronger tool will be needed for a thicker box material and vice versa. I cut the corrugated box 8 inches in height, its width and length are already 13 inches. A scale is used to measure it and a blade cutter to cut it.

Then comes the step of sealing the base of the box from the outside. Make sure the bottom is packed properly and no space is left open. I am using tape for this. You can use any sticky material as per your requirements.

When the base is packed properly from the outside, intact the inner part of the base using glue. The tip is the same, seal properly the inner part of the box as well. Then put pressure on the bottom so that it is intact accurately.

Measure Kraft paper according to the size of your box. I am marking it 12.8”-by-12.8”. Then I am using the scissor to cut it as measured. After this, I pasted it on the base of the box using glue. The tip is to make sure it is pasted properly.

Then comes the time to make handles on any of the two facing sides of the box. Handles make it easier to hold the box. I am creating a margin of 4 inches from both sides of the box and a margin of 1.5 inches from the top of the side in which the handle is being made. Mark as per the decided dimensions and cut it using a blade cutter. Repeat this step on the other (facing) side of the box and two handles are ready.

Cut the two pieces of corrugated box to make dividers. Cut one according to the length and the other according to the width of the box. Also, keep in mind the height of the box when making dividers. My box is square so the length of both dividers will be 12.9” and the height will be 7.9”. Cut them as per the required dimensions.

Now is the time to assemble both dividers and place them in the box. Make cuts on top to the middle on one divider and bottom to the middle on the other. In my case, the cut is 4 inches. Then assemble them and place the dividers in the box.
