First, slightly pull up on the shackle and rotate the dial until it catches on a number. Write it down and repeat until you have all 12 numbers.

Second, create a list of all possible combos for the first 2 numbers.
Example:
My lock slots were 3, 6, 9, 13, 16, 19, 23, 26, 29, 33, 36, 39. The symbol ( # ) represents any of the 12 numbers/slots.
[3, 3, #,] [3, 6, #,] [3, 9, #,] [ 3, 13, #,] ... [3, 39, #,]
[6, 3, #,] [6, 6, #,] [6, 9, #,] [6, 13, #,] ... [6, 39, #,]
[9, 3, #,] [9, 6, #,] [9, 9, #,] [9, 13, #,] ... [9, 39, #,]
[13, 3, #,] [13, 6, #,] [13, 9, #,] [13, 13, #,] ... [13, 39, #,]
...
Testing the Combos.
After writing down all of the combos just try them out.
Example:
[6, 13, #,] = First rotate the dial clockwise to 6, then rotate the dial counter-clockwise to 13, and then rotate the dial clockwise and stop on every slot/number and see if the lock opens.
