How to Cook Breaded Chicken Cutlets
This instructable will go through the process of cooking breaded chicken cutlets. The nice thing about this meal is that it is simple and can make a number of different meals. The approximate time it will take to complete is 60 minutes.
Supplies
Materials you will need:
4 boneless chicken breasts
2-3 cups of bread crumbs of your choice
1/4 cup of whole milk
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
Cut the Chicken
To begin, dispose of any fatty parts of the chicken cutlet by cutting it off. Then cut the chicken in half longways and make sure there is not any pieces hanging off, if so remove it as well.
Then tenderize the chicken on each side with a sharp knife.
Bread Crumbs
Pour the bread crumbs of your choice into a bowl.
Starting the Egg Batter
Start by putting the two eggs and whole milk into a bowl
Finishing the Egg Batter
Now to add the salt and pepper into the egg and milk. Then mix and your ingredients together thoroughly.
Battering and Breading the Chicken
Take each piece of chicken one by one put them into the egg batter, then into the bowl of bread crumbs to coat the chicken entirely. Make sure the each piece of chicken is coated fully before moving to the next step, you do not want the bread crumbs to fall off during the cooking of the chicken . Then place the chicken on a plate.
Cook the Chicken on a Stove Top
Use a frying pan with a small amount (2 tablespoons) of olive oil on the bottom of the pan. Then heat the pan on medium-high heat. Once the pan heats up, cook each piece of chicken for 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Make sure both sides are golden brown and only flip once.
Finished Product
Use paper towels to dry some of the oil off of the chicken cutlets and let them cool before using them in your meal. Do not forget to enjoy.
