How to Clean Gun With Water

IMG_4517.JPG

I've been hunting since I can remember. Its what ive always done growing up. I always had the problem of keeping my gun clean, and now im gonna show you how I figured out how to do it fast and effective.

Unload Gun.

Before you start this project make sure that your gun is unloaded and safe to work on. I don't want anyone to get hurt doing this. This can be fun, but one wrong move could end very badly.

Take Your Gun Apart.

Take your gun apart. Make sure you do this carefully you will want every piece separated so that every part will get cleaned. Also remember how you took it apart so when it comes time to put it back together there won't be any worries.

Boil Water

Next, start by boiling water on high in any size pot of your choosing. I prefer a medium size pot so you can get as much water as possible. Make sure water is boil rapidly and try and get as hot as possible so the water evaporates of the parts.

Pour Water on Parts.

Next, pour water on parts. Make sure every part gets water on it. The residue should fall right off. You may do this as many times as it takes to get the parts clean. The water should evaporate off the parts.

Wipe Parts Down.

Use a paper towel to wipe parts down the get all the water off and some parts of residue. Be careful when wiping parts down because the parts will be super hot. Try to get residue out of the tight places that the water may not have reached. Should wipe of very easy.

Put Gun Back Together.

Finally, you are ready to put the gun back together. Take your time and don't forget any parts. I would recommend adding gun oil to the parts for maximum efficiency before going out in the field the next time.

Thank you for taking a look at this and hope this will be helpful for all the hunters out there. Always remember to be careful and have fun.
