How to Change a Door Handle
Hi, I'm Jaime, and I will be showing how to fix vehicle doors. I have pretty well experience. I will also be showing 5 steps on what will have to be done to accomplish the job. These extended cab silverado's are very common for having this problem. Luckily for everyone I will be demonstrating how to get this fixed, no expperience required.
Supplies
T-27 torx bit
New door handle
2 screws
Wratchet.
Step 1
First step in this process would be to open the doors and give yourself enough room to work. This is important because you will be dealing with tools and don't want to damage anything.
Step 2
Second step will be to find the right tool to take the two screws out in order for the door handle to come off. It is important to find the right size screw head so you do not strip the head of the screw.
Step 3
Take out screws and remove door handle and throw away in garbage.
Step 4
Next, grab the new handle and make sure it fits the door.
Step 5
Lastly, put 2 screws back in and make sure not to over tighten and break.
