How to Capture Animals in the Snow

this is a fun winter activity that will make you laugh and keep you occupied!

Supplies

camera

animals to shoot (or anything really)

Positioning & Capturing

  1. Get to a good setting
  2. the animals are likely not going to pose for you so you always want to be ready
  3. find the view point you like (side, top, back, below)
  4. you may need to even lay on the ground to get the right shot
  5. once you find your view point just keep snapping and you will end up with something awesome!
  6. above are some pics I ended up with after I just took a bunch and deleted the rest. Forrest (the sheep) was in mid yawn.

  1. You want to darken or brighten the photo, this will make it pop.
  2. contrasting will help give the color warmth
  3. temperature will give the photo some feeling
  4. go through your filters and choose which one (or none) you like
  5. and lastly crop what you like out pf the photo
  6. above is before and after pictures of a picture I snapped while shooting my animals. (you do not have to shoot animals, you can shoot something as simple as I did)
