With 2 chairs and a few supplies, you can build an indoor slackline without any trees or wall brackets. If you liked the creativity of this project please vote for me in the first time author contest at the bottom of this page.

Decide Your Location

The distance between bolts should be at least 15 ft. You will need to take into proper consideration where you will bolt your anchors. You may want to hide the bolts under a couch or in a cabinet. If you have thick carpet, the holes will not be very noticeable if the bolts are removed. If you have no carpet, you will need to use concrete filler if you remove the bolts in the future.

Drill the Holes

Once you have found the spots you want, you will drill slightly further than the end of the threads. You can try a standard drill, which took 5 minutes to go 1/4th inch into the concrete, but I would recommend using a concrete drill which is a lot faster.

Screw the Bolts

Ensure that your washer is on the bolt before you begin. If you forget and have to take it out, you will have to drill another hole because the one you used will be too messed up to use again. So PLEASE don't forget to put the washer on the bolt. Screw in the bolt until the threads are not visible, so that they don't cut your webbing.

Loop the Webbing

Once you have finished driving the anchors, you will loop one end of your slackline under a washer, and run the webbing over an old chair (or a new one, I don't care) and over to the other side of the room where you will pass the other end over a chair and hook to the other bolt.

Tighten and Enjoy

The last step is the easiest. Just tighten the slackline using the ratcheting system and have some fun.
