How to Build a Geodesic Dome

Build a simple 1v geodesic dome using standard 2x4" lumber and Magidome® geodesic dome connectors.. This design is great for greenhouses, hunting blinds, mini yurts, camping, sheds, trellises, gardens, gazebos, forts, playhouses, and the ideal off grid tiny.
Supplies


•25x equal length 2x4" lumber
•Magidome® Steel Geodesic Dome Connectors www.magidome.com
*50x 4" Carriage bolts with washers and nuts
Cut Your Lumber

Cut your lumber to equal length. The length of your lumber determines the size of your 1v dome.
Pre-drill


Pre-drill your lumber using a connector as a template.
Assemble


Assemble with another person from the ground up ensuring each beam is supported upon assembly.
One can add braces for strength and customize for cool projects!
