How to Build a Bee Vacuum
Using a bee vacuum makes collect wild hives easier and damages the bees less than brushing them into boxes.
You also collect of the bees, which leads to a better outcome.
You'll Need a Larger Box to Be the Vacuum Chamber.
You'll need to add an inlet and a wired box to capture the bees.
Mark and Drill the Hole for the Inlet.
Drill into the lid and screw together making a seal around the lid.
Make a Stand Tall Enough for the Box to Reach the Lid.
Make sure there is enough space for an inlet for the vacuum at the bottom of the box.
Measure and Drill the Vacuum Input Hole.
Attach a joint to the inside and outside of the box.
For Pressure Control Add a Tap.
Opening the tap will lower the pressure and closing it will increst the pressure.
Next, You'll Need a Vacuum Cleaner.
Attach to the input at the bottom of the box.
Finally, attach a hose to suck up the bees.
