Making the Pie Crust

Firstly we will be creating the crust of the pie using tan colored legos.
First create a row of 1x 6 Bricks.

Create a staircase like connection of (5) 1 x 2 Bricks

Repeat Step 2 on the other side as well as adding an 1 x 4 brick to the end.

Step 4-6: Repeat the process for the other 3 sides (4 sides total).

Pie Crust - 2nd Layer on Top

Step 7-11: Create another layer on top of the first layer of the crust, repeating the process of steps one through six, however this time adjusting the position of the circular shape so that we are creating one additional brick space so that the object with be wider by one brick space.

Crust Base

Create a base for the pie crust using simple plate legos. I used primarily 2 x 2 and 1 x 1s, however any shape can be used here.
Completion of the Pie Crust

At this point the crust should look something like this.
Adding the Apple to the Pie

Alternating between an open space and a 2 x 2 red brick, alternate between every 2 bricks both from length and width, creating a checkers board like design.
Apple Pie Sauce

Give the Pie a Little More Crust

Fill the space in between the red 2 x 2s.
Texture and Layering

Add some texture and layering by placing plates and bricks across the top layer of the pie crust.
