How to Arm Knit a Blanket
These globally trending luxury Merino wool blankets are killer expensive to buy, but you can arm knit them up yourselves for a fraction of the price.

This blanket will be roughly 50" x 70" However because everyones arms are different sizes that means you're finished blanket will also vary in size.
P.S. This website has wool roving for a very cheap price (I'm not affiliated with them in any way) www.worldofwool.co.uk
Cast on 17 Stitches
Do this by arm crocheting a chain 17 stitches long.
Pull another stitch through the last chain loop at a 90 degree angle (this will be the first stitch of the next row).
Pull one loop through each "dash" or bump on the back of the chain (the front of the chain should look like a braid or plait, while the back has bumps).
Once you reach the end of the chain and all bumps have loops in them, you've completed the cast on row.
Knit the Blanket
Slip the first stitch off your arm onto the other arm, then knit all but the last stitch. Knit stitches are done by pulling the yarn through each loop on your arm from back to front, then placing each newly made loop on the other arm.
When you get to the last stitch pull the yarn straight through the loop, there is no need to pull the yarn through the back of this one. It's special.
Continue Slipping the first stitch on every row, knitting the middles stitches and pulling the yarn directly through the last stitch until you have enough yarn to complete one last row.
Cast Off (or Bind Off)
Slip 1 stitch and Knit 1 stitch, You should have only 2 stitches on your arm. Now take the back stitch on your arm, lift it up and drop it over the first stitch and off your hand.
Continue as follows until you have no more stitches to drop off: knit 1 new stitch, lift the back stitch up and over the front one and drop it off.
Weave in the Tail
Pull the remaining yarn through the last loop.
Weave the tail in here and there to disguise it into the blanket, and do the same with the cast on tail on the other end.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
You should have an absolutely gorgeous blanket now!
