False eyelashes or lashes are false lashes that people glue on top of their real lashes to enhance their beauty. False eyelashes can be difficult to put on. Weather they are mink, faux mink, or silk lashes, the same method can be used to apply them.

The first thing you should do when applying lashes is to compare their size to the top of your eyelid. You can do this by simply placing the lash on top of your eyelid. Recognize if your lash goes past your eye lid or not. Make sure your lash is comfortable and a good distance from the front of your eyelid. Also, if your lashes are not even all around, you measure with the shorter length or less full part of the lashes in the front of your eyelid.
Cut Your Lash

Once you have recognized the length of the lash that you need to cut, you can cut the excess band. The band is the part of the lash that you would glue to your skin. The band is also where the hair of the lash is attached. You want to ensure you cut the lash neatly. This can be done by recognizing the pattern of the lash and cutting the band where the hair pattern has made an entire cycle, or at least a distinguishable piece of its cycle. Make sure to cut the end of the lash and not the beginning. The beginning of the lash is usually the shorter or less fuller part of the lash. For a precise cut use small beauty scissors.
Glue Your Lash

Once your lash is cut you can start to glue it down. You want to make sure you have good lash glue of your choice. Duo lash glue is a good one. First, apply the glue to the entire strip of your lash, then on your entire eyelid. You should let the glue dry for a few seconds before applying the lash. Repeat with the next lash and you are done!
