Step by step instructions how a 4 year old makes a chicken sandwich while visiting Grandma.
Get Out Bread

It's ok if the top crust part get's torn off because the bag wasn't opened far enough. No one REALLY likes to eat that part anyway. (I stuffed it in my mouth and bit it, but my Grandma said I didn't have to eat it, we could feed it to the birds later)
Mayo

Next put some mayonnaise on the bread. Not too much, you can always add more later. Besides it's not really good for you.
Spread Mayo

Lick the Butter Knife

Don't waste any mayo, lick the knife.
NOTICE -- twice now, it has been suggested that this instructable needed a warning about licking knives. (1) The title makes it clear that a 4 year old is making the sandwich, and one could assume Grandma wouldn't give the little chef a sharp knife to work with, much less allow him to lick it. However, to satisfy the Safety Police: WARNING - NEVER LICK A SHARP KNIFE, YOU COULD GET HURT, CUT, BLOODY, INJURED, MAIMED and/or otherwise spoil a good time

Check Mayo Coverage

The mayonnaise has to go all the way to the edges. If you don't do that, you're going to get a really dry bite that doesn't taste so good and you'll have to drink half your milk to wash it down.
Measure for Cutting

Cut the Bread

Add the Chicken

You have to cover the whole bread, no bread showing!
Add Salt
![9_salt.JPG](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FUX/1BKA/FP319UYP/FUX1BKAFP319UYP.jpg&filename=9_salt.JPG)
Have your Grandma put salt on. It's better if she does it because salt comes out fast and too much is icky and you can't take it off very good. (BTW - Chef Ethan took this picture all by himself)
Open the Pepper
![10_open.JPG](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FX6/I476/FP319UYY/FX6I476FP319UYY.jpg&filename=10_open.JPG)
This isn't as easy as you think. (BTW - my pajamas say, "What happens at Grandma's house stays at Grandma's house" My Mom got them for me and my Grandma LOVES them!)
Add Pepper

Not too much!

You Need Some Veggies
![13_frozen.JPG](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FP3/XA35/FP319UZU/FP3XA35FP319UZU.jpg&filename=13_frozen.JPG)
You should always have some veggies or fruit every time you eat. My favorite veggie when I'm at Grandma's is frozen sweet corn. You can just pour it on your plate. You don't need a spoon or fork. I like how it crunches when it's still frozened.
Eat and Enjoy!

THIS IS THE BEST DELICIOUS SANDWICH EVER!
Don't forget to feed the torn off top of the crust to the birds. And Grandma says don't forget to put away stuff and do the dishes, too.
