How to Wash Your Hands

Intro.jpg

Washing your hands is one of the most basic forms of hygiene. It usually takes place after one uses the restroom and can keep one healthy and safe from diseases and parasites. In this tutorial, I will be demonstrating how to wash your hands.

Acquire Faucet or Sink

If you do not currently have access to a sink or a faucet, you can buy one at Home Depot or similar stores. Installing it into your house can be a complicated process and may require a professional. Make sure you do so before continuing with this tutorial.

Acquire Soap

Soap can be bought at almost every store. It doesn't technically matter what type of soap you use in this tutorial. But you want to make sure you aren't allergic to any of the soap you are going to purchase or use as this can cause problems.

Turn on Water

Turn on the water in faucet. Water plays an important part when washing your hands. It allows the soap to more easily spread to your hands.

Wash With Soap and Water

Rinse your hands first. This is key. Then rub or squirt some soap onto your hands and spread it around very thoroughly. Then start rubbing your hands very vigorously for about 20 seconds. This will ensure that your hands will be the most disinfected they can possibly get. And then just rinse off the soap.

Turn Off Water

After you have finished rinsing off your hands, turn off the water. Using less water is always beneficial. It can lower the cost of the water bill from your city.

Dry Off Hands
