How to Spring Cards

My inspiration for this instructable was I started getting into card  flourishes. I got so into it that I decided to make an instructable on one.
 
In this instructable I will show how to the card spring card flourish. You may see a lot of magicians doing this popular little trick. It took me about an hour to get it perfect most of the time.

Griping the cards is easy. All you have to do is take your fingers ( not including your thumb ) and then put your thumb on the other side in the center. look at the pictures for reference. Once you do so move on to the next step.

This is a simple but important part of this trick. Curl all of the cards so they look like they do in picture two. Once that is done go to the next step.

Now, hold your hand out to where you think the cards will land and hold your fingers to where they can catch the cards but, you feel comfortable the way you position you fingers. Now slide your thumb slowly upwards gripping the cards slightly tighter while doing so. Look at the pictures for more detail.

By now the cards will have mostly left your hand and into the other. Now remember, this part is very important... FLIP OVER THE DECK!!!!!!!! This will prevent you from bending the deck to badly and then try again.
