How to Play YouTube Videos Directly in VLC Player and Reduce Buffering Time

VLC has always been the first choice of most of the people and why not it is one of the best media player which provides handful of features and that too for free. I will be telling you here how you can reduce your buffering time and play YouTube videos directly in VLC media player.

This may seem tricky but believe me it is not, its quite an easy work to do, all you have to do is follow couple of easy steps and you can see that video playing in your media player.

Just follow these few easy steps :-

1.) Open YouTube and look out for the video you wanna play

2.) Once you are with the video, just copy its URL. You may close YouTube now, its work is over.

3.) Open VLC media player, from the toolbar, click on "Media" and from there click on "Open Network Stream".

4.) It will display a dialogue box asking for the URL of that video, paste that copied YouTube URL there and hit the play button.

5.) You can now watch the video with almost no buffering.

If it shows you nothing after hitting the play button, just wait for 10-15 seconds, it might be fetching the video.
