How to Perform a Wheelie on a Ripstik

This instructable will teach you how to perform a wheelie trick on a Ripstik. A wheelie is when only the front or bottom part of any ride (Ripstik, bike, scooter, etc.) is lifted up.

The first thing you need to do is to start riding first (obviously). Next, put whatever foot is your back foot on the very back edge of the Ripstik. Finally, lift your front foot up and your Ripstik will then go up. Do not lift your foot too high or the bottom of your Ripstik might hit the ground, slip away, and you would fall on your butt. Only lift up your foot a little when you first try it or else you will probably go to high and and fall. The first time you should try this trick I would recommend only lifting your foot up a little bit and then putting it back down. Then lift it a little higher, and higher, higher and then try to see how long you can keep your foot up. The longest I have ever stayed in a wheelie position was about 8-10 seconds long and my foot was raised pretty high. To do a wheelie while raising the back part of the Ripstik is the exact same way to do a wheelie with the front side up, but just opposite. This way is a little bit harder and the longest I've stayed up like that is 4 seconds. So try and see if you can beat those records and you can comment and tell me about it. Thank you!
