How to Make the Letters Y and E

This Instructable will teach you how tho make the letters "Y" and "E". Together, these letters will allow you to artistically express your love of older english.

What You Will Need for the "Y":

• 1.5" of 1" PVC (4)
• 6" of 1" PVC (2)
• 8" of 1" PVC (1)
• 1" 45º PVC Fitting (4)
• 1" Tee PVC Fitting (1)

What You Will Need for the "E":

• 1.5" of 1" PVC (15)
• 6" of 1" PVC (2)
• 1" 45º PVC Fitting (15)
• 1" Tee PVC Fitting (1)
• 1" 90º PVC Elbow (1)

General Tools:

• PVC Cutter

The first step to making the "Y" (besides cutting the PVC) is to make the center where most everything connects to.
You must first use 2 of the 1.5" PVC to connect two sets of two 45º connectors together. You must then use the other two 2.5" PVC pieces to connect the two double 45º sections to the sides of the Tee.

Attach the 6" PVC pipes to the top 45º connectors and attach the 8" PVC pie to the bottom Tee.

Assemble the back attathch the Tee, to the 6" PVC lengths and put the 90º elbows on the ends.

Each Squiggle has 4 to five 45º fittings and 1.5" pieces.
The uppermost has 5 sections, the middle one has 4 sections and the bottom one has 6 sections.
