How to Make the Turbo Tracker Rocket-Powered Paper Airplane

The Turbo Tracker is a rocket-capable paper airplane with 4 nacelles for engines or cargo. This plane is also able to fly without rockets if you choose not to use engines. With or without propulsion, the 4 pods beneath the wing give this plane a cool appearance.

Begin Folding

Take your paper and fold it in half along your length. Then pull the corners down into the center. Then pull the top down to the bottom of the corner folds.
Fold the Corners in Again; Pull the Nose Down and Up

Fold the corners down again.
Then fold the nose down along the bottom of the corner folds you just made. After that, fold all but 1 inch back up.

Outboard Nacelle Folding

Fold the corners of the wings' leading edges to the fold that you made bringing the nose back up. Mark their edge, then open them. After this is done, fold the paper into itself.
Inboard Nacelle Fold Preparation

Now that you have folded the outboard nacelles, you must now fold the inboard nacelles.
Pull the nose apart from its layers and fold it along several points. What was the tip of the nose should come to the back of the airfoil.

Inboard Nacelle Folding

Fold the paper from the preparation to the center as much as you can with the trailing edge paralleling the back of the airfoil. After you do this, squash the pod along its center. Once this is done, its back should be square with a pyramid shape leading up to it.
Fold the Wings and Winglets

Fold the left wing root down at about 3/4 of an inch above the center. Repeat on the other side. Then fold both winglets up 3/4 of an inch from the edge of the wing tip.
Tape Your Turbo Tracker

Tape your Turbo Tracker in the cited places:
-The front and rear
-The left and right leading edge folds
-The inboard nacelles to the bottom of the airfoil (not the bottom of the wing)

Flight

Your Turbo Tracker is now ready to fly. Whether you give it a good throw or 4 pods of rockets, the Turbo Tracker will become an instant favorite in your paper air force. It will also wow your friends as it flies along with its futuristic looking nacelles.
