How-To Make Spaghetti By: Haley Martinez

This Instructional Article is going to show you the step by step instructions on how to properly make Spaghetti.

As a College student on a budget, like myself, you really don't have that many options for quick and easy meals. In this case, I will provide a meal that is easy, quick, and if you're on a budget it is perfect for lunch/dinner.

Supplies

  1. Box of spaghetti noodles (any type)
  2. Spaghetti sauce (any type)
  3. Turkey meat (optional)
  4. Seasonings (Salt, Pepper, etc)
  5. Basic cooking equipment (Pots and pans)
  6. Pam (cooking spray)

Preparing to Cook

  1. Turn stove on Medium-High heat.
  2. Put 10 cups of water to boil (may differ depending on how much spaghetti you're making).
  3. Lightly spray the pan with Pam (any cooking spray).

Cooking the Spaghetti

  1. Put meat on pan and season with desired seasonings.
  2. Continuously stir meat until cooked.
  3. When water begins to boil, put the noodles in the pot.

Continuing the Cooking

  1. Stir spaghetti while boiling.
  2. Lower saucepan heat to low.
  3. Pour spaghetti sauce into meat.
  4. Mix sauce and meat, wait for it to heat up.

  1. Remove pot from heat
  2. Carefully carry the pot to sink and drain. Caution: HOT
  3. Pour the spaghetti noodles back into the pot.
  4. Mix sauce and noodles together (optional).

  1. Place spaghetti noodles on a plate
  2. Place meat sauce on top of noodles
  3. Put parmesan cheese on top of the sauce (optional)
  4. Enjoy!

Optional Step

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. Place toast on a cookie sheet.
  3. Bake 5-8 minutes
  4. Let cool off for 5 minutes
  5. Enjoy!
