How to Make Liquid Hand Sanitizer

13, 6:28 PM.jpg
Hello there! Today I was putting salt into my hand sanitizer so it would be gritty. I needed something to get things off my hands better. Then, it turned to liquid after I shook it up... I thought, "What the heck did I just do?!?!" So I made another batch to show on the instructables world!

You need a couple if materials------- 1. Germex 2. Salt. (I used kosher) 3. Funnel. 4. Small plastic bowl 5. Measuring spoons 6. Filter of some sort

Mix It Up

Grab your measuring spoons and pull out the 1/4 teaspoon spoon. Fill it with kosher salt and pour into your germex. Watch as the salt slowly falls down, is it pretty? After the awing, shake the bottle vigorously! Act like you're homer and the germex is Bart Simpson! Shake for about 1 minute. Then let the salt fall down. (Yup, that's me shaking it in the picture)

Assemble the Purifier

To assemble this purifier, just put your chosen filter on the bowl and pour in the mixture. Also, make sure the holes in your filter are small enough to block the salt.

Purify!!!!!

Start to pour your liquid germex in the filter! A little salt in there will be fine, just not a lot. Do this until you get your desired water to salt ratio. Make sure to get the bottle clean of all salt and then pour the good solution in the original bottle.

Thank You!
