How to Make Delicious Ice Cream or Smoothie Out of Snow!

Currently,here on the East Coast There is 2 feet of snow on the ground.  I have been making snow ice cream for years,mut it would turn watery quckly.It also did not taste like real ice cream,more of a snow cone.There is more than enough snow to experiment with.There are infinite possibilities with this recipe. I will show how to make three and give you some ideas.  If you skip putting it in the freezer you get a very good moctail!!

The Basic Recipe

So snow ice cream is the following plus a flavoring:



                                                          ½ a cup of heavy cream
                                                          ½ a cup of sugar
                                                          a bowl of snow
                                                          your flavoring

When you have finished mixing things up,put it in the freezer for about a half an hour to thicken it up(it does not take long to freeze snow)

How to Make Strawberry

We got,for no particular reason,some frozen strawberries at Target. The juice in there is great for ice cream-making.Throw the sugar,a half cup of strawberry juice,some heavy cream,and (optional) a little bit of vannilla  extract. mix well,be sure to get rid of lumps,and put in the freezer for about a half an hour(to thicken it) Serves 1.It has a nice pink color.It tastes great!

How to Make Vinnilla

Get a bowl of snow,do step 1(the cream and sugar) and theroughly  mix in about  a tablespoon of vanilla extract.Throw in the freezer for a half hour and you're done!

Make Orange-Strawberry-Banana

This is the step 1 recipe and about ¾ of a cup of this juice i found at the store and ¼ cup of that strawberry-stuff.
