How to Make a Tornado in a Jar

In this instructable I will be showing you how to make a tornado in a jar!

For this experiment you will need dawn dish soap, a small jar, and water. (If you want you can use glitter but i am not)

You need to fill the jar almost to the top leave about 2cm of space at the top of the jar. Then put a big squirt of dawn dish soap into the jar. Lastly put the lid on.

Before you make the tornado I would shake the jar and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Now quickly shake the jar in a circular motion for about thirty second. When your done you should see a tornado forming. It might take a couple try's. In my picture it doesn't look like a tornado but it did you just couldn't tell. I hope this worked for you!
