How to Make a Simple, Powerful, and Portable Rubber Band Gun

You may have seen other big and bulky Popsicle Stick guns that shoot rubber bands very far. Well, you can make one that shoots a rubber band the same length but can slip into your pocket. Let's get started!

You will need 1 Popsicle Stick, Scissors, Tape, a food clip or clothespin, and rubber bands, of course.

First, cut a small indent at ONE end of the Popsicle Stick.

Next, you need to tape your clothespin or food clip to the OTHER END of the stick. Make it stick out from the stick as far and as sturdy as possible, as seen in the photos. We wouldn't want it to fall off! Also, use as much tape as you'd like.

Take the rubber band(s), put it in the clip and stretch it to the indent you made in step 1. Aim, open the clip, and watch it fly! If the indent is too long, make it shorter and try again.
