How to Make a Recycled Soda Can Lantern
This instructable will show you how to make your very own soda can alcohol powered lantern!!!!!!
this is a very basic instructable that is very easy and will only take about 1/2 hour to complete.
You could always cut out shapes or stars and place an LED candle uner the hood and make this a decoration for a babys room. or a night lite for your children.

Materials
You Will Need:
1 Candle
1 Aluminum soda can
Matches
Scissors
marker (OPTIONAL)

Soda Can Demolition
Pop the top of the soda can and drain out the soda.
after this has been completed rince the inside with HOT water several times.

Cutting and Smashing
Now that the soda can is empty, you will need to cut most of the top off, and you will need to cut several slats in the cans body.
I also made about 4 small holes in the top of the can
After this the can should be partway smashed and you should be able to see throught the slates demonstrated in photo 4
I used a marker to mark where i needed to cut.

LIGHTING OF THE CAN
light the candle and place the hood over the top. Use caution when removing the hood after candle is out VERY HOT!!!!
