How to Make a Cross Pattern on the Rubik's Cube

Today I will be showing you how to make a cool looking cross pattern in a few simple steps! :D
The Front Face

To start the cross I choose a side (preferably white) to stay on through all the moves.
The First Turns!

To do the very first turns you must know how to read notations. I will put them in notations and just show you. First turn the left side up and the right side up till you see the yellow side.
Top and Bottom Turns

Now you will take the top face and turn it 2 times. Repeat with bottom layer
Almost Done!

Now turn the front face 2 times and the back face 2 times.
Done!

You should now have the checkered pattern! To solve it do it all over again. Make sure you start on the side you started on.
