How to Fix a Guitar
In this tutorial I will show you how to fix a guitar that doesn't have any tuners or an end nut. Previously on this guitar, the neck has been glued back on and painted, and fixed in a couple other spots too.
Attach the Tuners
First you attach the tuners to the top of the guitar. To do that, you stick the tuner thought the hole and put the washer and tuning bolt on top of the tuner. After that put the small screw in the back. You repeat that step until you've done it with all six tuners.
Attaching the End Nut
Next you add the end nut. The end nut is the piece in between the head and the neck, and it holds the strings up. To attach the end nut you can add a dab of glue and the strings will help keep it down too.
Put on the Strings
Then take out the tuning pegs as shown in the picture and stick in the string. Push the pegs back down in to secure the strings on that side and on the other side stick the string thought the hole in the tuner and turn the tuner until the string it semi tight. Repeat this step with all of the strings.
Finish It Up
Lastly you need to tune the guitar and snip off the ends of the strings that are sticking out. You will need to tune your guitar several times after putting on new strings because the strings stretch out. After you do that you are done, and your guitar is ready to play.
