How to Do Your Makeup

This tutorial teaches you a simple way to do your makeup. I wear my make up this way every day. I like it because it is simple enough that it looks relatively natural.

Liquid Concealer

The first thing I do (after washing all the old make up off of my face) is liquid concealer.
I put the concealer only on the dark spots of my face.
Darkness around the eyes runs in my family and is the whole reason why I started wearing make up in the first place. I always put concealer there first. Then I do other areas that I'd like to appear brighter. For me, the other spots are just beside my nostrils because that is a bit read, and sometimes my chin or a few freckles.

Make sure you rub the concealer in well.

Powder Foundation

Next I use powder foundation. I apply this to my entire face. The one I use is a little darker than my natural skin tone, but close enough that I do not end up with make up lines.

Blush

Next I add the blush and it all starts to come together.

For the blush, I smile so the "apple" of my cheek stands out. I apply the blush to that bulging part of my cheek and bring it all the way to the back of my head near my ear.
Sometimes the blush is darker than I would like, so I just wipe the edges with my finger to blend it into my foundation.

Eye Liner

I use liquid liner. I usually use this one. Unfortunately, I lost it!!!!
Instead, I am using a wet n wild liquid liner.
I begin at the inner part of my eye, leaving some space after my nose. I draw outward. Usually, I go about halfway, then I start from the outside and meet it up in the middle.
Basically, make a line from the inner part of your eye to the outer part of your eye at whatever length you wish. Sometimes I like it short, sometimes longer.

Eye Shadow

I like natural colors. Gold, however, is not natural, but it works well with my skin tone and my hair. I always use this Maybeline gold eye shadow. I only recommend gold if you have a tanner skin tone. (I have a slightly tan tone, but it is difficult to tell in these pictures. I look pretty pale, haha.) Before I used gold, I would use a tan color. You can use whatever color you wish, but I recommend natural earthy tones just a little darker than your natural skin tone.

If your eye liner was a little uneven, you can cover it up now with your eye shadow and no one will be the wiser.

Mascara

Honestly, this mascara cost me like a dollar or two. Mascara does not need to be expensive, it's really about the brush, that's what makes it apply thinner or thicker. I use big round brushes. This one is a cheap wet n wild mascara. I used to use Maybeline cat eyes or any of their volumizing mascaras, but they test their nw mascaras on animals, so I stopped using those ones.

Ordinarily, I don't wear lip gloss, but I use blistix all the time. However, if you want a gloss, just apply a light layer, pucker, and you're good to go!

Gorgeous, Darling!
