IMG_0675.JPG
If a person wants to build upper body muscle and they don't have any money then push ups are a great way to start. Push Ups have been used since ancient times. Push Ups do work and show results but with many other things in life dedication and practice are the best ways to see result.

This instructable will include two different types of push ups. The basic fundamental push up as well as a tricep push up. Push Ups are fun and can be done at any age.

Using more advanced means of getting strong like free weights are not recommended at any age. The specific areas that the push up works on is your shoulder strength, pectoral muscles, upper back, as well as your abdominals. You can get tone arms as well.

The Setup for the Basic Push Up

Get on the ground and get on all fours. Take your legs and make them straight as if you’re standing on the ground but keep your legs together not spread. Take your hands and have them shoulder width apart. Extend your arms so you are putting all your pressure on your hands and wrists. See the picture to see the exact position you should be in.

To actually do a push up one must make their arms into 90 degree angles. Go down into the 90 degree angles then immediately come up. This basic push up works your biceps and broadens your chest.

See the 2nd picture to understand the 90 degree angles your arms should be in.

To see results the more you do the more results you’ll see. To see even better results a tip would be to stay in the 90 degree angle position for as long as you can and then repeat that process again and again.

Different Type of Push Up: Tricep Push Up

To do tricep push ups the setup is practically the same. The basic push up has a focus on your biceps. To do tricep push ups the setup is practically the same.

To see results the more you do the better. To see even better results a tip would be to stay in the keep arms in parallel position to rib cage area. Repeat that process again and again.

When doing the basic push up a person will see that their arms extend outside of their body. For the tricep push up arms must be parallel to the rib cage area.

The more you do the better result you'll get. A tip would be to stay down when doing the tricep push up (see picture) to feel the burn more. Repeat that process again and again.
