Rd 3 - 9: Continue crocheting the mesh stitch in every st.

Sewing Together
Copy the placement of the pieces in the first picture. Make sure the wrong sides are facing you. Put stitch markers in place to hold them together.
Start by either slip stitching or sewing the shoulder seams.
Next slip stitch or sew the sleeves to the back and front pieces.
Flip the cardigan inside out so that the wrong sides are still facing you. Slip stitch the sleeves, front, and back pieces closed. (5th picture for reference.)
Leave long tails for weaving in. Tie off.
Ribbing and Buttonholes
Rd 1: slp st into the left front piece's ribbing. ch 8
Rd 2: beginning in the second ch from hook, sc in every ch, slp st into two stitches of the front piece.
Rd 3: sc in back loop only of every st
Rd 4: repeat rd 3. slp st twice into the front piece.
Rd 5: sc in back loop only for two st. ch 2, skip 2 st, slp st in back loop of next st. sc in back loop for two st.
Rd 6: sc in back loop of every st (including ch 2) slp st twice in front piece.
*Repeat Rd 3 and Rd 4 for 4 rounds.
Repeat Rd 5 and Rd 6.*
Keep repeating the ** section until you have 4 buttonholes.
Repeat Rd 3 and 4 until you make it to the shoulder.
When you reach the shoulder, instead of slp stitching into two of the back piece's stitches, we will only slp st into one. We must do this so that the back piece doesn't pucker:
Sc in back loop of each st, slp st once into back piece stitch. Sc in back loop of each st.
Repeat until you make it to the next shoulder.
Repeat Rd 3 and 4 slp stitching into 2 stitches again. Continue until you make it to the end of the front piece.
Leave long tails for sewing. Tie off
Finishing
Sew 4 buttons across from the button holes. Hide the yarn tails. And your done, take a bow!
