   Optional:

  1. Unpackage your nails and sort them by size. The size should be in tiny, raised lettering on the tip of the plastic nails, but that depends on the brand.
  2. Fit all of your nails separately. The plastic nails should fit from edge to edge with no gaps or overlap. If your nails are between sizes, file the sides of the larger nail down to fit. Do not assume that your nails are the same size - your nails on different hands could be different sizes. Make sure you line up your nails in order to avoid confusion. I usually go from left pinky to right pinky and apply in that order EXCEPT the thumbs, which I apply last to make the application of the rest on the rest of my hands easier
  3. Put the nails that don’t fit you back into the box.

  1. Make sure your nails are short cut. Depending on your nail length, you can do this by either trimming them or filing them.
  2. Apply cuticle remover to your cuticles one hand at a time. Let sit for however long yours says to, but typically about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Using your cuticle pusher, gently push back your cuticles and carefully remove the excess dead skin.
  4. Follow the directions on the bottle as to how to remove the excess product (for example, mine says to wash my hands with warm, soapy water)
  5. Apply nail polish remover or nail dehydrator to each of your nails. This strips the nails of their natural oils and makes the glue stick better

  1. Make sure you have your toothpicks and a small dish of nail polish remover on hand. This is to get the nail glue off of your skin if it overflows.
  2. Apply a small dot of nail glue to the end of the plastic nail that goes closest to your cuticle.
  3. Press the plastic nail as close to the cuticle as you can get it and push down so the glue fills underneath the entire nail with no bubbles.
  4. If the glue overflows onto the sides of your nails, use a toothpick dipped in nail polish remover to remove it from your skin.
  5. Firmly press down on the nail until the glue is completely dry.
  6. Repeat numbers 2-4 until all of your nails are applied
