How I Made Entryway Storage Bench
In this Instructable I'll show you how I made this Small Shoe Storage Bench. It's a great way to capture all the shoes in our entryway and has been a welcome addition to the house. It's made out of wood from the home center (other than the walnut top which could be subbed for other material) and has easy construction methods.

Hello!
Today I will tell you how I made a small cabinet for shoes in the hallway. The dimensions of the cabinet for shoes are 680 * 300 * 470 mm. It is small, but it fits the size of the cabinet.
We’re a family of 2 and we’re constantly losing the battle with shoes in our entryway. Since our shoes are always a mess we wanted to keep a storage bench there for the kids to sit down on when getting ready.
I took the furniture panels and cut them. Used furniture panels from pine.
All connections glued with glue
I used pocket hole jig for connection
For the back wall I cut a groove with a milling cutter
I also installed shelves. Dimensions can be seen in the drawing.
At the bottom of the stand I made a decorative border
I put it all together and cleaned it with sandpaper
Then I painted everything with paint. Applied 2 coats of paint
I covered Seat with Watco Danish Oil. Applied 2 coats of oil
That's it, you're done. If you want to see more details you can watch my video on Youtube https://youtu.be/4XThQTkJHX4
