How I Fixed One of My HO Scale Locomotives
Hello everyone! Thought I would get another model railroading Instructable out here! Today, this is something that I worked on some weekend to fix problems about this locomotive, my Union Pacific 1234 Bachmann locomotive. Stats:
Problems in the past:
- Was not intact with the electric voltage of the electric track layout too well
Solution:
- Oiled with Labelle 108 lubracant and the locomotive works better now!
If you feel you need to do this as well, go ahead and follow along to the steps to fixing this!

Planning
You will need to plan the following things for this:
- Find a day when you are not busy with work or a day where you don't have anything to do.
- Then when the day and time comes, gather your supplies and get ready for the next step!
Supplies:
- the locomotive that needs fixing
- Labelle 105, 104, 107, or 108 (the only ones I know that I have seen either in person or online)
- a somewhat big workspace to work
- about 5 minutes of your time (yes it's that fast!)

Lubricating Locations on the Locomotive Then Lubricating
BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING: The only place you need it is inbetween the middle of the trucks and the backside of the wheels. Now, go ahead and lubricate all 8 spaces or all 12 if it is a 6 wheel drive. In this case, mine is 4 wheel drive. I have the cap on because I did the lubricating before this 'ible.
Sitting
Let the oil sit for a few seconds to a minute and test it out! And you are done!
Done!
Now that you have lubricated your locomotive, it should run better than before! Hope you enjoyed! Fell free to comment any questions you have! Sub and fav as well pls!
