How I Designed a "Love Story" CD Label for My Photography Clients!
I love taking pictures, and I just finished a really special photo shoot for a couple who are in love. It was my first big project, and I wanted to make it really nice for them. I decided to put their photos on a CD and made a special label for it that showed how much they love each other. I used a tool called RonyaSoft CD DVD Label Maker to help me create the label.
Supplies
First, I got a program called RonyaSoft CD DVD Label Maker from official site. It was really easy and quick to set up. I felt a bit worried because I'm better at taking pictures than using a computer, but the program was very simple to use. It didn't have any confusing tools, just the right things I needed to make a nice design.
Choosing a Template
Once I had the computer program ready, I looked at different designs and picked a blank label for a CD. This let me use the best pictures from the photo shoot. The couple wanted something simple and sweet, so I decided to keep the design easy to look at but still special. If you like, there are also many ready-made designs you can pick from!
Customizing the Design
To start with, I chose three of my favourite photos from that day. These photos really show how happy they are together. I placed them in the template of my choice and adjusted their size and position until they looked perfect on the label. I also added the circular text ‘Love Story’ and chose a font to match the romantic mood. It was important to make sure the words were easy to read but didn't distract from the images. The computer program helped me to align everything nicely, and I liked that it made sure to avoid a hole in the CD so I didn't mess up the layout.
Setting Up the Print
When my design was ready, I got to print it! I used special sticker paper for CDs that makes labels look really nice. The computer program I used worked with many well-known paper brands, like Avery, so I picked the right one from a list. I also added lines to show where to cut, which helped me make a nice, clean edge on the label. Before I printed it, I could see a preview of what it would look like, which made me feel good because I knew how it would turn out!
After printing, the label looked exactly how I wanted it! I carefully cut it out and stuck it on the CD, starting with the middle hole and then smoothing it out to get rid of any bumps. The CD turned out really nice, with a special label that the couple really liked. The best part was seeing their happy faces when they held the finished CD!
