How Do I Make a Perfect Mandala? / Cómo Hago Yo Mandalas Perfectos?

Hello! welcome back to another tutorial. If you know me you know that I make mandalas, so here I'm going to explain the most secret tricks to make them perfect or almost perfect. Although the biggest secret is to practice, your first mandala is not going to be perfect. It's good to relax while you draw it. It is also good for meditation and decoratiorating the house.

Hola! Bienvenidos a otro tutorial. Si me conoces sabes que hago mandalas, así que aquí os voy a explicar los trucos más secretos para hacerlos perfectos o casi perfectos. Aunque el mayor secreto es practicar, tu primer mandala no va a ser perfecto. Es bueno que te relajes mientras lo dibujas. También es bueno para la meditación y decorar la casa.

• Protractor
• Ruler

Take a grid and make two lines parallel and marks as shown in the picture. 

Now join the marks forming a petal and repeat it to get used to it.

Coge una cuadrícula y haz dos líneas paralelas y marcas como se muestra en la imagen.

Ahora une las marcas formando un pétalo y repítelo para acostumbrarte.

Do the same but smaller and smaller.

Haz lo mismo pero cada vez más pequeño.

Now decorate the petals the way you want, here are some ideas. Any symmetrical things, dots and lines, spirals, flowers, etc. are useful.

Ahora decora los pétalos como quieras, aquí tienes algunas ideas. Cualquier cosa simétrica, puntos y líneas, espirales, flores, etc. son útiles.

Find the center of the paper by making a cross joining the corners.

Place the protractor in the center and coinciding with one of the lines, mark all the angles that have a large line.

Erase the excess line and join all the marks passing through the center.

Encuentra el centro del papel haciendo una cruz que una las esquinas.

Coloca el transportador en el centro y coincidiendo con una de las líneas, marca todos los ángulos que tengan una línea grande.

Borra la línea sobrante y une todas las marcas que pasan por el centro.

Make circles with the compass, while you are drawing you can make as many as you need. 

Go over the circle closest to the center with a marker on the compass.

You can first make the half circles with the pencil and then go over them with the marker.

Haz círculos con el compás, mientras dibujas puedes hacer tantos como necesites. 

Repasa el círculo más cercano al centro con un rotulador en el compás.

Puedes hacer primero los medios círculos con el lápiz y luego repasarlos con el marcador.

Make a teardrop and a circle in this way and color it black. I also made these lines.

Haz una lágrima y un círculo de esta manera y coloree de negro. También hice estas líneas.

Mark the top and bottom two to guide you as in the grid. Decorate the petals.

Marca los dos superiores e inferiores para guiarte como en la cuadrícula. Decora los pétalos.

You can combine the petals, the half circles, the lines, the decorations... as you like, some parts painted in black look very nice. But it depends on how you like it.

Puedes combinar los pétalos, los medios círculos, las líneas, los adornos... como quieras, algunas partes pintadas en negro quedan muy bien. Pero depende de cómo te guste.

You can help yourself with the pencil for the difficult figures.

Puedes ayudarte con el lápiz para las figuras difíciles.

Erase the pencil marks and you are done.

I made this mandala on a white background so that the pencil could be seen well in the photos, but to do it with watercolor backgrounds you must first paint the background and when it dries make the mandala.

Borra las marcas de lápiz y ya está.

Yo hice este mandala sobre un fondo blanco para que se viera bien el lápiz en las fotos, pero para hacerlo con fondos de acuarela debes pintar primero el fondo y cuando se seque hacer el mandala.
