House, the Original

What I did was a 3D model of my house which I originally made in Fusion360. The house includes the main room the living room, a closet, a TV, a few lamps, and a couch of course. So for my real-life 3D model, I used cardboard to make the base of the house, and well most of the house is also made of cardboard, I later then added a patch of grass on the outside house, and a useable door and sidewalk. Why I did this because it's a useable house that can be used by everyone, it looks complex but has a subtle sign of simplicity. Many people say a small house doesn't have to have tame and basic items in the house. When building a house you have to make it stand out and make it look unique, not follow the standards that society has set for you.

I chose to create this design since it would look like a house that I would like to live in, it has a simple look yet it looks complex and different to me. Not only that but if I built this house, many people would know that I made it since I made sure to pour in a lot of effort and different details I would like to see in a house.

How I used my imagination was I tried to make the house look fun and comfortable to live in but make it look realistic still. it’s about creating a space that reflects who you are, Whether is building a house or an apartment the process can foster creativity, innovation, and personal satisfaction while at the same time being able to feel a sense of accomplishment.

Finally, I see my design, impacting the future as hopefully, my house can be an inspiration to other architects to build a similar house and then I'll be well known for starting a trend in houses.

  2. paint/markers
  3. tape measures & rulers
  4. box cutters and saws
  5. glue, staplers, and hot glue guns
  6. popsicle sticks
  7. pencils
  8. my computer
  9. clamps
  10. sandpaper
  11. pliers/scissors

The Inspiration

The first step before I had to do anything on Fusion 360, was to try and think of an idea of what type of house to build that hasn't been done before. I tried looking at some houses around my area, but ultimately I decided on a simple idea that I thought looked nice.

Putting My Ideas Into Fusion 360

Once I had an idea of what I wanted to put, I first had to make the sketch out of what I wanted the base of my house to be. Once I did that, I extruded the floor to make ti 3D and then, I began to add more and more walls to the house to make it look, well more like a house. Once I had that, I decided to put a door and added a window outside. Once I had that done, I started to give it a little more detail like adding a TV & a TV stand, as well as adding a cabinet, a few lamps, and a couch to finish the design off.

Adding Some Detail to the Outside Part of the House

To add a little more detail, and make my design look like an actual house, what I added was a picture of grass on the outside part of my house to make it look more realistic.

Once I had my design all ready and to my liking I began to collect a few items that I would need to start my design. Some of those items being: sandpaper, the cardboard itself, pliers/scissors & a couple box cutters and saws to cut out the pieces that I wanted for my house. After I had all of my tools ready, I started t assemble my house together and adding the TV and couch to the interior part of my house.
