What Tools Do You Need?
In this tutorial I will be using a gem set tool by Kandi corp
This tool is specifically designed for use with hotfix stones and comes with a variety of tips to suit each stone size.
If you do not have access to a gemset tool you may use a soldering iron on the lowest setting. Just be careful not to touch the fabric/surface.
First turn on your tool and let it heat up to working temperature (about 2 minutes)

Gather the Stones
Pick the colour of stone (s) you will be using and place them on your surface.

Set the Stone
Slide the stone into the desired position with the tool and hold in position for 15-20 seconds
This allows the glue to melt into place.
Be careful not to slide the stone once the glue has melted.
Leave the stone to cool down for a minute or so before gently moving the stone to ensure it has stuck in place. If the stone lifts up to comes off just place the tool back ontop and repeat until fixed into place.
