Hot Water Bottle, FREE!
Hot water bottles you buy in stores are soft floppy things. They are dangerous to fill and go cold quickly. They are also flat when you're in bed, so if you have cold feet (this is what they're for!) you get hot heels or hot toes. There is a really simple way to improve on this product, and it's free! It's made from junk you can find anywhere... It's such a simple thing.
You'll need
- 1.25 litre (42 fl oz) soda bottle.
- Sock (optional)
Fill the Bottle With Water and Screw the Lid on Tight.
Optionally Put a Clean Sock Over the Bottle
Put It in the Microwave to Heat It Up.
My very ordinary microwave takes 3 minutes 30 seconds to heat the water to perfection.
Sleep Soundly Snuggled Up to Your Hot Water Bottle.
Feeling smug about it costing NOTHING to make, and something that is WAY better than store-bought, and is made from up-cycled trash gives a warm glow too!
Tip: if you want to get warm fast, hold the hot water bottle to your chest. Heat your core up, and your blood circulation will warn your extremities.
