Hot Italian Turkey Sausage Mix

I needed a good sausage mixture to add in to a lasagna I was making and developed this recipe.
Using ground turkey keeps it a little healthier than using pork, and the spices add in the right amount of spiciness!
Ingredients

So, this is very simple and straight forward, but comes out really delicious!
Ingredients:
20 ozs. Ground Turkey
¼ cup Cold red wine
¼ cup Chopped fresh parsley
1 ¼ tsp. Salt
¾ tsp. Garlic powder
¾ tsp. Onion powder
¾ tsp. Ground black pepper
¾ tsp. Dried Oregano
1 ¼ tsp. Fennel seed
½ tsp. Crushed red pepper flakes (use more if you really like it spicy!)
1 ¼ tsp. Smoked Paprika
Make Mixture

- Combine all ingredients and mix well. Cover bowl.
- Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours - up to 3 days
Use with your favorite sauce, make patties, stuff into a sausage casing...
