Hot Glue Geode

I made a geode rock out of hot glue. It's a very fun way to brighten up any room.

Supplies

  • Hot glue gun
  • Hot glue sticks
  • Lotion
  • Plastic cup
  • Decorative pebbles (Your color choice rocks)
  • Black paint
  • White paint
  • Shimmer powder
  • Makeup brush
  • Sponge brush

Get Ready

Get your cup and lotion. Put lotion on the bottom and side then rub in. Then put aside.

Get Your Glue Gun

Get your hot glue gun ready and pour hot glue over the bottom of the cup and let drip down. Let that dry. Then once the glue is dry, make sure there is no holes in the hot glue. If there is put more hot glue over it.

Texture

Once dry, get your gun and add texture by adding layers in different spots. Then take it off cup once dry.

Paint

Get your black and white paint and make a light black color then get your sponge brush and dab the paint on.

Get Rocks Ready

Wash your rocks in water and fully dry.

Put in Rocks

Coat the bottom of the geode in hot glue and put your rocks in facing up.

Shimmer

Then get your shimmer powder and dip your makeup brush into the shimmer power and dust onto the rocks in the geode.

There you have it, a beautiful new room accessory, to brighten up any dull space.
