Horror Movie Photo Effect

Change pictures of your friends or favorite celebrities into a character from a horror movie using picnik.com, a free photo editing website!

Type http://www.picnik.com into the URL box in your internet browser. Click “Get Started Now”. When the page loads, click “Upload a Photo”. Choose the photo you want to edit from your hard drive.

Click the “Featured” tab and select the “Blood Stains” effect.

Note: After the Halloween season is over this effect can be found under the “Seasonal” tab

Add bloody tears to the picture and blood dripping out of the mouth. When you’re done making changes, click “Apply”.

Now that you have the blood effect added to your picture, go to the “Effects” tab and click on the “Cinemascope” effect. Uncheck the “Letterbox my photo” option and click “Apply”

Note: Leave the “Letterbox my photo” checked for a different look

Now go to the “Orton-ish” effect and set all options (bloom, brightness, and fade) to 0%. Click “Apply”. Your scary horror movie effect is now finished!

Go to the “Save & Share” tab at the top of the page and save your photo to your computer. Share this horrific wonder with your friends!!!

Note: I recommend saving your picture as a jpeg for the best quality
