My Shop made version of the Hornady Lock-N-Load Overall Length Gauge for Use in Reloading Ammunition. The Entire Gauge Was Made from 5/8” Round Bar and 1” Aluminum Round Stock Cast In The Home Foundry and Machined On My Manual 12” Atlas Lathe. This Gauge Was Made For a .308 and .223 Caliber Rifle. It Is Used For Determining The Exact Bullet Seating Depth Using A Comparator, a Modified Bullet Casing and a Set of .001” or Better Calipers. In This version I Used a 5/16-24 Tap For The Modified Bullet Casings.
