Honors:Fidget Toy

For this project, we were to make a fidget toy in Fusion 360. What I chose to make was a gear fidget but the background would be different and I chose to make the background as a character that I liked.

Before brainstorming our ideas, we had videos we would watch of different fidget toys that we could make or use other youtube videos to make other fidget toys that were not in the paper that we were given.

I've created a few ideas where I would create a fidget toy that either is geared with a character background or make a character shape dovetail box.

After brainstorming my ideas on paper and choosing one of the choices I chose.

I decided to do the gears with a character background. Using Fusion 360 I was able to create the fidget I wanted but there were some difficulties with the gears and making the character for the background.

I printed out a sample piece (blue piece) and the hole for the gears to go onto the pole was too small so it wouldn't fit and the gears weren't moving as smoothly as it was on the Fusion 360. So I had to adjust the gears a bit far apart and fix the hole of the gear to be able to fit onto the pole.
