Easy shelves for $5!

Materials:

Popsicle sticks (I used around 250 total to build these 2 shelves)

Super glue

Wood stain

Marker

Paper

Paint brush

Single Hexagon Shelf

Layout hexagon shape with popsicle sticks.

Glue shape together.

Let it dry a few minutes before starting to build it up.

Continue build the shelf as deep as you'd like the shelves to be.

Using your single self, trace around the outside of the hexagon. Link as many hexagons as you like.

Use only the exterior (squiggly lines) as guide for building your next shelf.

Layout popsicle sticks on the template you created.

Glue the base of your shape together.

Allow it to sit for a couple minutes.

Build up your shelf to your desired shelf depth.

Stain

Once shelves have dried, paint the wood stain on.

Completely cover the shelves.

Allow to sit for 15 minutes.

Wipe excess away with a cloth or paper towel.
