Honey and Orange Butter

So, if your creative and want to make something amazing that is inexpensive this is perfect, give it to that special persons or for a family members birthday/ Christmas. Alternatively you know you could give up entirely and get them a well meant but ultimately dry and boring card, i picked this, clearly the better option.

So what do you need

Ingredients:
2 cups unsalted butter, cut into ½ inch cubes and at room temperature
Zest of 1 orange
3 teaspoons orange marmalade
3 teaspoons honey

Picture 1. You will need a large bowl for this.

Picture 2. Add butter and orange zest

Picture 3. Add honey and marmalade (orange Jam/preserves)

Picture 4. You need to mix all the ingredients together this wont be easy unless you are in a warm room.

Picture 1-3 Scoop the Orange butter in to a jar

Picture 4 -6 decorate the jars with craft string and ribbon

(you need to scoop the mixture in to your jars, you will have a far easier time about doing this if you are doing all of this in a warm room. remember if you mess up majorly and get a large amount on the outside of the jar you can always put the lid on and run it under hot water for a minute)
